Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi will host the 31st match of the current Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Monday (September 20).
The Knight Riders are placed second to last on the points table after winning just two games out of a total of seven games so far. The team led by Eoin Morgan will be desperately looking for a win as they have lost three of their last four games.
KKR would be looking for some changes to its higher-order as the opening pair of Shubman Gill and Nitish Rana failed to add much run in the first phase of IPL 2021 in India. The Knight Riders could send Sunil Narine as a starter to solve this problem and add Lockie Ferguson in the final XI to strengthen their bowling attack rhythm.
On the other hand, RCB has so far had an outstanding performance and is pretty close to booking a playoff spot with five wins out of seven games. The only area of concern for the Virat Kohli-led team is their Net Running Rate (NRR). Despite being ranked third in the ranking, RCB has an NRR of -0.171.
Kolkata Knight Riders vs Royal Challengers Bangalore, Match 31
Venue: Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium, Abu Dhabi
Date & Time: September 20th at 7:30 PM IST, and at 6:00 PM local time

The Abu Dhabi tracks helped both the pacemakers and the spinners in the thirteenth season, and that’s why fans missed seeing some high-scoring contests at this venue. KKR will feel more at home here with five of their seven victories on the field last season. However, RCB also held them at 84/8 in the same place.
